REPORT FROM TRUDY SCHENK ON MICHAEL MAURER RESEARCH Dear Jerry, Once again, I have a report for you. At this point I am done searching the following parishes: 1) Kirchensall, here I found one Maurer family, seven children were born in this parish. There is one other which died in 1699 in Kirchensall. She was not born in Kirchensall, neither was the parents marriage found there. With the christening of the 2nd Eva Barbara, a witness was from Einweiler. This is again part of Eschental parish. It seems like all Maurers trace back to Eschental. 2) Orlach, no Maurers 3) Michelfeld, no Maurers 4) Fachsenfeld, no Maurers 5) Eschelbach, no Maurers 6) Baumerlenbach, no Maurers 7) Steinkirchen, no Maurers. There are just a few parishes left to do and I will do them in the next couple of weeks. Viele Gruesse, Trudy Schenk.
