AUGUST 1995 NEWSLETTER
Thanks to all who are contributing to the work. We are now beginning the researching of the Martin BRILL line. Trudy Schenk wrote in early July that she was ill in June and not able to research.
I have not been to Salt Lake this summer to research like I would like, but I am in the process of writing a history of my 2nd great grandfather, Henry MOWER Jr., son of Henry MOWER and Mary AMICK. Specifically I have been researching his trip across the Plains. Although he did not leave a journal, he travelled in Silas RICHARDS' company and that gives us a good picture of what was happening to him.
I hope that I can send part of that history in future newsletters. My computer bit the dust this month, and I have had to go to the school at odd hours to get this thing typed and it has really cramped my style not to have my computer, but I hope by September to be up and running again.
