Thank you for your patience in waiting for this report. I have now completed your research hours. All of the research this time has again been at Ljusnarsberg parish in Orebro. The research in the earlier sections of this parish is very difficult, owing to the condition of the records. The earlier records are extremely difficult to read and as well, the clerk was very negligent in the amount of information which he gave. The wife's name is virtually never given in the birth/chr records and as well, the residence within the parish is very frequently not given. The latter I have very seldom seen, as the residence is critical to separating individuals with the same name. However, I have done the best that I could, under these circumstances.
I am sending a complete new set of pedigree charts, as I have been able to further extend some of your direct lines from Ljusnarsberg. Please note the relationships on these sheets. It appears to me that I may have previously misfigured some of the relationships, and where I have found that to be the case, I have corrected the enclosed sheets.
We begin on pedigree chart #3 with the family of Anders Olsson and Karin Hindersdotter (family #49). They were from Tappan in Ljusnarsberg and were the parents of four children. They are your 8th great grandparents. On the next generation back, Karin Hindersdotter was the daughter of Hindrich Andersson and Bryta Ersdotter (family #319). It appears that Karin had a brother named Anders Hindersson who was married to Elisabet (fam #318). Also, Hindrich Andersson apparently had a sister named Margeta Andersdotter who was married to Matts Jacobsson (family #338).
On pedigree chart #5 is the family of Eric Danielsson Dunder and Anna Andersdotter (family #132). You already have a copy of this sheet. Eric's brother was Daniel Danielsson Dunder who was married twice. The name of his first wife has not been determined (family #328), but I have located another daughter to this couple. She is Elisabeth Danielsdotter who was married in 1691 to Johan Marcusson (family #344).
Also on pedigree chart #5 is the family of Anders Nilsson, who is your 8th great grandfather (family #150). I still have not determined the name of his wife, but I have located two more children in this family.
Inger Andersdotter was the wife of Ole Mattson (family #90). You already have this family group sheet. This couple is shown on pedigree chart #5, chart #20, and chart #31. My most recent research leaves me uncertain of Inger's father's full name. However, it appears that she had a brother named Anders Andersson who was married to Elisabeth Clemmetsdotter (family #333).
Zachris Olsson, also your 8th great grandfather, is shown at the bottom of pedigree chart #5. He and his wife were the parents of nine children. One of these was Johan Zachrisson who was married in 1692 to Chatrina Johansdotter (family #129).
On pedigree chart #6 you will find the family of Sven Larsson and Margareta Mattsdotter (family #30). They were married in 1704 in Ljusnarsberg and were the parents of four children. Your ancestor is their last child. On the next generation back, Sven Larsson was the son of Lars Svensson and his wife of Gratorp (family #92).
Margareta Mattsdotter, wife of Sven Larsson above, appears to be the daughter of Matts Mattsson and his wife Kerstin Hollensdotter (family #135). I have found record of six children in this family. Two of these were married as follows:
1. Bryta Mattsdotter was married to Per Hindersson (family #149). I have found record of two children, but there are likely others.
2. Matts Mattsson was married in 1704 to Susanna Persdotter (family #136). There are likely other children in this family.
I have not been able to determine the name of the father of Kerstin Hollensdotter, but it appears that she had a sister by the name of Elisabet Hollensdotter (family #335). This is based on the witnesses.
Also on pedigree chart #6 is the family of Lars Joransson and Elisabeth Hansdotter (family #31). They were married in 1710 and were the parents of eight children. They were from Myggsion in Ljusnarsberg parish. Lars Joransson was the son of Joran or Gioren Grilsson (family #133) of Myggsion. Pehr Joransson was a brother to Lars Joransson. He was married in 1694 to Karen Andersdotter (family #134) and they were the parents of nine children.
Lastly we go to pedigree chart #53 where we find the family of Anders Andersson of Kiallkarn (family #110). He is your 9th great grandfather and it appears that he had at least eight children. One of these was Elisabet Andersdotter who was married in 1692 to Matts Hindersson of Ljusnaren (family #145).
That covers the research which I have done for you this period. Please let me know if you discover that I am wrong about any of the relationships. I look forward to hearing from you soon and continuing with your research. Best wishes.
Sincerely yours,
