Dear Jerry:

The research on your lines at Lindesberg parish in Orebro, Sweden, continues to be very productive. As always, you will first find a new set of pedigree charts.

The first family group sheet is from pedigree chart #2. Jonas Persson Hammersmed and Margete Jonsdotter are your 8th great grandparents (family #72 which you have). Their son, Anders Joensson was married in 1713 to Maria Ersdotter (family #564).

The next family group sheet is from pedigree chart #3. Nils Persson and Brita Nilsdotter (family #182 which you have) are your 8th great grandparents. Their son, Erich Nilsson, was married in 1715 to Anne Nilsdotter (family #183) who is also your relative.

On pedigree chart #7 you will find Anders Hansson of Hammaren in Lindesberg, who is your 8th great grandfather. He was married twice; his first wife was your ancestor. His second wife was Maria Andersdotter (family #291).

The next family group sheet is from pedigree chart #8. Here you will find the family of Pehr Mattsson and Brytha Jansdotter, parents of Pehr Pehrsson (family #372). They are your 7th great grandparents. To date I have only found record of the one child.

Brytha Jansdotter was born in 1684 at Bjorkhyttan in Lindesberg, the daughter of Johan or Jan Larsson and Brytha Hansdotter of Bjorkhyttan (family #515). They apparently also had two other daughters.

On pedigree chart #13 you will find the family of Peder Eliasson and Anna Hansdotter (family #76). They were from Forbohyttan in Lindesberg and are your 9th great grandparents. Your ancestor is their daughter Bryta. Her older sister, Kerstin, was married in 1692 to Nils Ersson (family #284). She and her husband had at least five children. One of these, Karin Nilsdotter, was married in 1715 to Anders Andersson (family #570).

Elias Joensson is on pedigree chart #18 and is your 10th great grandfather. His daughter from his second marriage, Cherstin Eliasdotter, was married in 1695 to Carl Carlsson (family #243).

Hans Ersson and Ingeborg Ersdotter (family #87) are shown on pedigree chart 19. Their daughter, Karin Hansdotter, was married to Nils Jonsson of Angeboda (family #227). They had at least six children.

Per Ersson of Granshyttan is shown on pedigree chart #24. He is your 9th great grandfather. His son, Olof Persson, was married in 1711 to the widow Anna Andersdotter (family #259).

Next we go to pedigree chart #25 to the family of Nils Jakobsson and Cherstin Hansdotter (family #188) from Armanboda in Lindesberg. They are your 9th great grandparents. They were married in 1661 and were the parents of six children. Your ancestor was their oldest child, Brita Nilsdotter. Also enclosed you will find sheets on some of her siblings:

Peder or Per Nilsson was married twice. His first wife was Brita Larsdotter (family #189) with whom he had five children. His second wife was Anna Larsdotter (family #432) with whom he had at least six children. Peder Nilsson's first child, Nils Persson, was married to Margeta Andersdotter (family #568).

On pedigree chart #45 is the family of Hans Parsson Lov and his wife Elisabet Nilsdotter (family #220). You will note that I have now located their marriage and the birth record of their first child. It appears that they then moved from Lindesberg for some time and later returned. They are your 9th great grandparents.

On pedigree chart #48 if the family of Hans Andersson and Elisabet Andersdotter (family #286) of Hammaren. You have this family group sheet. Enclosed are updated sheets on two of their children. First is Peder Hansson, who was married to Margareta Ohlsdotter (family #290). Also is an updated sheet on Hans Hansson Norr, who was married in 1703 to Sigri Haraldsdotter (family #288).

Lars Christophersson and his wife Karin Andersdotter are shown on pedigree chart #49 (family #306). They are your 9th great grandparents. You will recall that I had previously shown that Lars Christophersson was married twice. However, I have now located some information which leads me to believe that these are two different individuals, both named Lars Christophersson and both from Gusselhyttan in Lindesberg.

Therefore, I have now shown the Lars Christophersson who was married to Margreta Hansdotter (family #287) as different from your ancestor. The death record on this later Lars Christophersson shows that he was two young to be the same as your ancestor. However, you are related to Margreta Hansdotter, so both of these families are still your relatives. Your direct line ancestor, Lars Christophersson, still appears to be the son of Christopher Larsson and Karin Ersdotter (family #298).

Johan Larsson was the son to Lars Christophersson and Karin Andersdotter. He was married in 1681 to Anna Hemmingsdotter (family #424) with whom he had three children. Their son, Nils Johansson was married in 1715 to Karin Mattsdotter (fam #571).

Kerstin Parsdotter is your 9th great grandmother. She is shown on pedigree chart #52 with her first husband, Hans Pehrsson. She was married secondly to David Ersson (family #279) who is also your relative. They were the parents of six children. The oldest of these, Erick Davidsson, was married in 1704 to Bryta Mattsdotter (family #553). Their only daughter, Chirsten Davidsdotter, was married in 1715 to Anders Andersson of Aspa (family #569).

On pedigree chart #53 is the family of Olof Svensson and Kerstin Svensdotter (family #199 which you have). Their daughter Anna Olsdotter was married in 1713 to Lars Hansson of Garphyttan (family #260). I have located record of four children.

The remaining few family group sheets are for various other relatives. The relationship is listed on each sheet. That covers the research which I have done for you this period. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I hope that all is well with you and your family. Please let me know when you receive this package. I hope to hear from soon and look forward to continuing with your research.

Sincerely yours,
Linda K. Larson
