Neatha Leona Mower Wilson

1920 ~ 2004

Neatha Leona Mower Wilson passed away Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Davis Hospital.

Neatha was born June 14, 1920 in Stores, Spring Canyon, Utah to Clarence and Leona Kristina Clark Mower. She married Alvin Reay Greener, the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 10, 1960; he passed away August 28, 1984. She married Stanley R. Elliott; he passed away February 12, 1996. She married Quintes L. Wilson December 9, 1998.

Neatha was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in numerous callings. She served a mission to Ohio with her husband Stan. She also worked in the St. George Temple for 12 years. She loved children and was Jr. Sunday School coordinator for 20 years.

She was an accomplished seamstress and had worked for J.C. Penny's as a bookkeeper. She also worked at the Marina Store at Strawberry Reservoir where she loved to fish.

She is survived by her husband, Quintes; son, Dennis L. (Charlotte) Greener, Bellevue, WA; daughters, Lynda (Bart) Ryan, Delta, Jeannine (Ladd) Gordon, West Valley City, Cindy (Terry Hamilton ) Davies, Price; stepsons, Dennis (Vickie) Wilson, James A. (Holly) Wilson, Layton, Joseph L. Wilson, Wayne C. (Monica) Wilson, Salt Lake City; stepdaughters, Jan (Tom) Fenton, St. George, Ann (Frank) Petersen, Tucson, AZ; daughter-in-law, Charlene Greener Gurganous, St. George; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, William E. (Shirley) Mower, Kemmerer, WY, Donald (Pearl) Mower, American Fork; sisters, LaRue Wiley, Orem, Beth Johnson, American Fork, Connie Orr, Springville, Janice (Gary) Frandsen, Snowville, Diane (Gerry) Goelze, TX; sister-in-law, Juanita Mower, Springville. Preceded in death by brothers, Eugene Mower and Clark Alvin Mower; two sons, Clair D. Greener and Garrell Reay; stepdaughter, LaWana Greener; stepson, DeVon Greener.

Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday, September 1, 2004, 11 a.m. at the Gaily Park First Ward, 50 West 300 South, Kaysville. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church.
